It is a nice choice of composition and the title is adequate but I think it would have been better if you chose another time of day to reshoot it. This is because of the shadows that spoil the composition distracting the eye. Did you use a polarizer? If not, next time, please do, the shot will improve I think ;)

awesome! at first i thought it was a road - very beautiful picture. i love the mountains. why are they rarely seen?
:iconkilgore-trout:
hey thanx for the nice comment man :stereo:

as for why there very rarely seen....
well thats due to the fact this terrain is one of the most ruggedess mountain scapes in the world
and to get to where this was shot...takes about 7 days to hike in WITH an EXPERIENCED GUIDE

its either that.....or you Pay mucho's denoro $$$$$$$ to fly in with one of the local drunkards

---now this particular shot was taken from the little Cessna i got to fly thruoughout the mountains
but i also did a few day hike in there myself......and its truly untouched by man...as theres only been a very limited amount of people that have hiked into the middle of Kluane Park

so its these shots that i hold dearly..as they are kinda rare amongst many photographers itself

i would recommend it any day :faint:

but its not easily seen......
over a week hike to reach the middle of this park (this shots location) ...and its the most rugged mountain scape / Non Polar Ice cap in the world...

so bring lots of wooly sox cause even in the middle of summer...BRRRRRRR

Oh man thats awesome - I know what you mean, this summer I got the experience to go places you could only go in a few days hike...nowhere near 7, but still remote. It's an amazing feeling. your very lucky to experience it like you did, i am very jealous :-D

anyway, nice job on this picture, again! i really like it.

hey thanx man...
i appreciate the honesty :handshake:

but tooo me personally...i opted and preferred the shadows in this composition....
only thing i woulda changed, was the fact that the cloud moved in too fast and joined its shadow with the mountains shadow :(

ahh well.....

but too each there own...and i appreciate & heed your your point of view

---now in regards to the polarizer....funy enough..it was used...but that haze you kinda see was actually caused from the amount of forest fires /smoke that hindered most of all our beautiful landscapes this past summer
as for a re shoot.....well this shot & a few others like it cost me up to $1000 in expensives
so sadly i wont be goin back any time soon

but one day........
hopefully it'll be paid by my employer to shoot this instead of me indulging into my own wallet

ohhh ONE DAY

anywayz....thanx again for the great comment
